Looking for bicycle advice (cyclocross)

i'm going getting new bike in next couple of weeks , wondering if cyclocross best choice me. concern other "hybrid" products seem ok @ each of things meant not great. unfortunately, can't afford road bike , mountain bike. there's situations i'll in on highway traveling dirt roads.

top priorities bike
1. commuting - 5 days week
2. fitness - 3 days week
3. day touring on hwy (60km / 40miles) - 1 day week
4. biking/camping trips combination of hwy , dirt roads (100-200 km / 120-240 miles) - couple weekends month

don't plan on racing.
panniers load camping gear & food weekend trips

example of weekend camping trip plan on doing 100km on hwy , paved roads , 40km on dirt road favourite camping spot. dirt road isn't accessed or maintained lot it's hard, smooth , has few potholes, other times loose gravel.

i've been checking out brodie romax , scott cyclocross comp. going checkout norco, trek , rocky mountain well.
