How do you make a boat "latch" ?

don't need latch. when ready trailer water, winch hook off foot. trailer, , drive boat onto it. when climbing out of boat bow, take winch hook , put onto bow eye, , tighten winch cable. take 10 seconds, , secure boat trailer. no gimmicks, procedure.

not trust gimmicks. if have latch , stern gets carried off sudden gust of wind or wave, , bow latched trailer, you?

for want of better word lol,i want drive boat (4.3m tinny) onto trailer @ ramp , have hook on automatically @ winch post can straight car , drive out of every ones way,tying boat down later.the commercial ones cost $200 >.
