Cnn financial advisor - ways to save money??? tip 5%??

i'm student... , work tips.. , heard cnn had financial advisor on ways save money higher costs of gas , food....

supposedly advised ways save money when going out eat be...

eat bigger meal lunch.. skip extras (desserts, appetizer... ect) , lower tip 5%?!?!!?!?!?!

i've heard several different people, although can't seem find online... can't imagine thinking 5% okay!!?

how bout if can't afford tip properly, go mcdonalds or somewhere tips aren't accepted!!

why screw poor person trying make living same you... if 5% service, tip 5%... don't tell millions of people on national tv okay tip 5% save money!!! ugh. peice of garbage.
