Is going into nyu and major in philosophy a good idea?

im senior in high school
don't know want after graduate high school
because parents doctors want me follow
paths, im not sure. know im interested
in psychology , philosophy im thinking going
nyu , major in philosophy , psychology , after, go nyu
law school (if im lucky :)) might change mind while im in university , decide go med school.. majoring in philosophy disadvantage me if change mind , decide go med school? u think going in nyu , majoring in philosophy , psychology idea @ all? :(
