Hi, I am Italian, can you explain me the difference between republicans and democrats in the United States?

republicans believe in free market, less government interference , control, , lower taxes principles our country founded on , made united states prosperous , successful superpower in short amount of time compared ages of many other countries around world. did ever study american revolution or hear of boston tea party? colonists (americans) didn't want taxed or controlled @ mother country england fought our own independence oppression. republicans believe each individual responsible , own successes , failures because have chance succeed in america if willing takes succeed! realize success requires off couch , proactive in our own lives, , if fail no one's fault our own , should not cry , expect government bail out our welfare system overloaded. many people expect government take care of them. republicans tend more grassroots, "old school" values, , value individual freedom. republicans tend more anti-abortion, pro-gun, (or in other words, pro individual's right responsibly protect themselves), more god-fearing , patriotic.

democrats tend believe government should more "in charge" if will. right democrats want socializing things our healthcare system. believe our school system should regulated government etc... higher taxes pay all. big government , big control , less individual responsibility. democrats our president-elect obama said, "spread wealth around". take "rich", studied hard, worked hard, , earned have , give didn't work hard or earn it, giving people less incentive successful because more make more taxes you'll pay. punishing success , hard work if care see way. democrats tend pro-abortion, anti-gun, , more prone protest conflict. democrats see more idealistic , "peace-and-love" , resist aggression or conflict, great, , wish for. wish world full of rainbows , flowers, , there no problems. unfortunately that's not way , in today's world republicans realize mentality can dangerous in dangerous world, , weak perception of can make more prone attack.

republicans prefer on offensive militarily protect ourselves.

democrats prefer on defensive militarily , weaken our military defenses being perceived less "aggressive" in eyes of world. see butt-kissing. world run when need help? have remain strong. not arrogance.

american let me this, regardless of world opinion of right americans hate war , peaceful people. believe in heart of hearts president bush's heart in right place when decided go iraq , think thought there weapons of mass destruction. why else have gone in against opposition? can't out of head. fool , laughed @ when didn't find wmd? made mistake u.s. , whole world turned on him, made best of bad situation , liberate iraqi people ruthless dictator controlling people fear , torturing , killing own people , have been successful @ that. not leaving iraq (at least under bush's watch) until know iraqi's strong enough protect responsible thing do. in contrast, entered wwii after being attacked on our own soil , came rescue of many european countries rid world of hitler's intended domination see threat of terrorism , islamic jihad infiltrating around civilized world.

proud on side of republican party because see stronger, more responsible, , safer party. though our new president democrat, , worried, ok.
