no one, ancient greeks discovered philosophy. small important difference. other answerers here (morpheus), thought, know elementary fact. philosophy invented cut it's connection truth , make unnatural artifice. philosophy invented imply it's akin engineering or art. of course, know it's not applied science make philosophy type of art. know modern philosophy has gone need not accept view of philosophy; sadly, however, have risen white flag of surrender before fight has begun. truth discovered not invented.
