Subaru, taking it out of AWD

1) not vdc thats stability control feature
2) instructions in owners manual, fuse under hood.
3) not save on gas, if drive damage subaru , wont save on gas either. subaru's have efficent awd system. others have said if want better have give awd , try luck fwd cars. i'd rather have awd , lose few mpg.

heres math you: assume 12,000 miles per year , current subaru gets 25mpg, lets bought fwd gets 35mpg 10mpg increase. lets gas 3.85/gal. on course of year save $528 on gas assuming price stayed same. @ $4.50/gal increases $617.00. think how new car cost....newer on $10,000, , if older one, have fun paying maintanance , repairs keep on road. if paid $5000 fwd car take 10 years break on savings.

2001 outback legacy, heard there fuse (thinking vdc) put in make front wheel drive, save on gas. else this? problems?
