I hate the dorms and I only live 30 minutes away from college..should I commute?

have been @ college month , although have made few friends, hate here. not college..but dorms. people loud after midnight , can't take it. also, little homesick. feel can't concentrate on studies because of loud people. roommate , don't along , never invites me places , brings boyfriend on spend night once week. have gotten out of contract next semester don't want stick out til then. parents letting me come home , commute semester though won't money back. stupid? cannot take living here.
