HELP!! i need all the answers i can get about the Volkswagen Vanagon !!?

came out in 1980. "vanagon" comination of words "van" , "wagon" (like station wagon). length, had enourmous amount of interior space. models had air-cooled engines. around 1984 water cooled engines became available. can tell difference looking @ front - air-cooled vanagons have 1 grille (between headlights). watercooled vanagons have 2nd grille, between turn signals.

vanagon discontinued in usa in 1991. vanagon production in south africa continued until 2005.

vanagons available in camper version, done westfalia. can accomodate 4 passengers. have pop-top roof allow stand up. double bed "upstairs" in pop-top section. rear bench folded flat double bed well. have fridge, stove, , sink.

"weekender" model has pop top, no kitchen gear.

regular vanagons seat 7 people. bench in 3, 2 rear facing jump seats, , driver , passenger. battery under driver's seat.

"synchro" 4 wheel drive vanagon available.

vanagons came either automatic, or 4 speed manual. diesel model available, rare.

although newest models more 18 years old, camper versions still valuable. companies such gowesty.com , westfailia enterprises refurbish old vehicles , re-sell them $15,000-80,000+.
