wow have been hard pick 2 more different towns on li neither 1 of meet requirements btw
mastic beach on eastern end of li , using tried , true , fast long island rr it's 2 hour trip city>so forget
elmont while considerably closer straddles nassau county /queens county line , highly urbanized although pretty devoid of high density /high rise housing>but crowded
commute bus subway city or bus lirr city subway work
town straddles border douglaston better choice
think need 4 things first in order questioned answered
1)modify q , place in nyc section
2)give fellow new yorkers on there anidea of you're going working in manhattan
3)also give idea of you're life needs in terms of housing , have car etc
4)come idea of how time acceptable commute each day
luck
