How can you tell the difference between a 1997 toyota celica coupe and liftback?

give vin toyota dealer , can tell kinds of stuff car.
if celica has 1.8l engine, it's st , if it's 2.2l, it's gt.
on liftback model, rear glass raises when pop trunk. glass close size of windshield. coupe's glass shorter , not move when open trunk. conventional decklid opens when pop trunk.

i bought 1997 toyota celica not long ago couldnt tell trim st or gt. owner didnt know @ all. question how can tell details car if st or gt? how tell if coupe or liftback? couldn't out of manual.
