Do movie theaters still use 35mm film stock, discs, or some other method of projection?
majority of movie theatres still use 35mm film, balance changing digital projection on next few years. don't know how long before 35mm film goes away entirely, it's on horizon.
35mm print run on maintained equipment qualified projectionists can literally go through hundreds or thousands of runs virtually no loss in picture quality. unfortunately theatres running 35mm film use people barely functional , equipment poorly maintained.
