I have to move to another state?

wife , live in indiana. have worked out of state 4 years , tired of driving 1 1/2 hours each way work. not move because loves job , home town (not mine). town live in , daughter has great family life here because of large extended family. however, cant take commute anymore. sometimes, bad weather have stay @ friends, or in hotels or drive turns 2 plus hours. so, want own place in city work in , come home once or twice during work week, , come home on friday. know lot of people truck drivers , pilots gone weeks @ time. bad marriage wise, or many people have this?
