not 1 of nimrods bought gas guzzler when gas 2 bucks. drive neon gets 30 miles per gallon if drive right. means making sure commute @ times allow fastest steady speed. means getting on freeway before 6 when there virtually no traffic , taking backroads home allow me on 50 way. otherwise, sitting in traffic kills mileage , lowers closer 20-23.

lucky me own 2002 toyota pickup gets 25 mpg hyw. barely city driving in commute.
