What business major fits what I'm looking for in your opinion?

after long hiatus college, i'm going @ age of 29.5.

attending georgia state university in spring '09.

business; read wall street journal on daily basis. , converse dad (who has bachelor's degree in accounting) financial issues pollution politics often.

though, dad has told me horror stories of accountancy (arguably, versatile major in business world @ moment), @ 1 of big 4 firms.

worked pricewaterhousecoopers, in late 60's, 70's, many years 1 of first blacks in new york office. when left, swore never work firm again , still has not, 40 years later.

people, love. sharing, working them, individually , corporately. found mainstay of life happiness.

virtually degrees concern people have little marketability in private , public sector , compensate less, or have spend rest of 30's getting advance degrees supplement it. not option.

ideally, combine business acumen fondness people reap profitable , satistifying career in business world. business major be?
