can wireless network or network through mains power supply, unless have network set already, more complicated , expensive solution using bluetooth. router may have usb socket, otherwise need printer server, relatively expensive piece of kit. alternatively, if printer attached computer downstairs, enable printer sharing , keep downstairs machine switched on when printing upstairs. need printer drivers installed on upstairs machine.

how can connect computer upstairs printer downstairs without bluetooth or wires ? ?
