I just got a new mazda with lots of miles?

owner's manual best place start. if don't have here list of major work should have been done already.

timing belt (usually due every 60,000 - 75,000 miles)
engine coolant flush (usually due every 60,000)
brake pads , turn rotors (wear item last 60,000)
transmission fluid (usually due every 60,000. i'd drop pan , not go "flush" cause problems on high mileage car--don't worry mechanic know mean.)

big ones. other you've got change oil on time. car should last 50,000 miles.

okay buying 2002 mazda protege 100k on it. in great condition , runs well. sicne have many miles on it...what need checked , needs replaced...like belts or that. websites wil or if know lots cars. :)
