Subaru Legacy Leaking Oil?

on these subaru's rear of oil pan gasket , rear main seal close together....and hidden cross member, impossible tell oil coming unless knows trick not. last time couldn't tell, replaced oil pan because lot cheaper rear main, degrease engine , stopped leak.

i had inspection on 1996 subaru legacy rs manual , report states "the rear area of engine-under body leaking oil" , "rear area of transmission leaking oil".
ideas on may causing this?
