Philosophy class is making me cry! plz help?

taking first philosophy class. online class. have never been stressed, confused or felt stupid in class in entire life. dont understand how read philosophy. because class entirley onlne, (it on message board students , professor discuss readings ect) feel completly lost. not becuase other students , professors write philosophers becuase dont know how make claim. try contribute discussion, professor says irrelevant. worked hard write thought discussion topic , getting comments make me feel stupid. feel self confidence dropping minute , stress levels rising. in tears last night becuase never feel incompetent in school.

can give me tips @ how deal philosophy class?
