arts speak when observe or participate in them , moved, genuinely moved emotion -- joy, sorrow, whatever. arts speak if take step , @ precisely doing moving.

here's example:
suppose have 2 men best friends. go out beer after work , go movies or ball game or musical. says 2 men if 1 moved tears during scene in rent angel thin can gently lifted off of sick bed little doll other man unmoved. then, few days later, second man moved tears while 2 of them watching delta farce starring larry cable guy.

granted, unlikely pair of friends, let's take little further:

suppose guy who's moved delta farce decides drama , plays , operas stupid , decides vote in favor of taking arts out of schools, while other man passionate musicals , symphonies , dance concerts , makes sure vote advocate arts in schools.

now, if take 1 small step further: arts speak when votes tallied. if majority of people has decided abolish arts in schools, says lot us.
