How can I get roles at my local theatre?

theatre doc said, call theater , ask when holding next auditions in age range. should tell if need come prepared monologue or song.

however, if don't tell recommend having monologue , song prepared, in case!! also, wear comfy, yet nice clothes can move in, in case have dance or physical. in addition, make sure wear sneakers/closed toed shoes/or jazz sneakers or shoes audition.

i have been on local theatre's website , there nothing getting roles. sorry, have no idea how kind of stuff. please help?
