Does Mazda Miatas share engine and tranny with any Ford model???

mercury capri same period shares basic engine nothing else. mx-5 unique platform not used ford , shares little other mazda models.

should add 2g miata's share engine kia.

being ford owns mazda , share engines, trannies , platforms explorer, ranger navajo , b2200 (among others), i'm wondering if miatas `93 ´97 share engines , trannies ford model??? please specify ones.
