Toyota Solara opinion?

have owned two--both '99 v-6 , '01 5sfe 4 cylinder. both comfortable cars built on camry platform, both reliable cars-just better sheet metal in opinion. 6 cylinder bit harder on fuel, power nice when accelerating when needed. love fuel economy of 4 cylinder, ( 27 in town , if keep @ 60mph have gotten 35hwy! think damn full sized car). both engines reliable if serviced should. preferred older 01 body style hardtop , not convertible (my preference) find convertible rattles more , rear visibility diminished. sb

anyone owns/owned or have ideas on toyota solara? generally...is car? milage? things of nature.
