How best to advertise my forum?

i've put whole lot of work forums (www.infohub-forums.com) , expand community - problem is, i'm not sure best way go doing this...

live in sort of agricultural town, people around here don't have need forums (no matter how nice are, lol) don't think me put signs...

thinking maybe having bunch of highschool kids set site homepage of school computers, don't know if that's sort of advertising want, lol... i'd hate blocked that.
