Does anyone commute everyday to belfast from dublin or the other way round?? is it hard?? im planning to do it

uncle commutes portadown dublin, mon-fri (portadown couple of stops before belfast on train, belfast 35mins on train). uses train, quite expensive gets monthly or 3 monthly (not sure) ticket, have these tickets dont advertise them enquire ianroad eireann. hard, has no home life or social life during weekdays , long cummute twice day (belfast longer)

loves job though , happy enough it, if absolute job of life-time , dont mind spending 5hours (or more) day commuting , fro, go it, otherwise try find in dublin or move belfast, if these options no go , have heart set on job, go for, can wont easy.
