How can i make friends while commuting to college?

understand anxiety comes doing new, let alone college. i, @ 1 time in life had same lifestyle/role going have , be: non-traditional student. may feel little awkward @ first trust , believe me can , develop meaninful relations while in school, whether live on campus or not. suggest on friday if there campus function or planned--go! friendly in 1 of classes may happen live on campus, ask or if they'd interested in attending.

college "clubs" great way socialize while in college. find few causes passionate , see clubs fit interests , become involved. meet ton of people way provided 'caring , reliable' type--no 1 wants slackers sign clubs, should join, there on time , participate.

college campuses large once immersed in student life, forget it's enormity. being on campus amount of time be, if part-time, can't feel apart of "culture" after all there doing, , earn degree (credential) , when doing scholarly work, cares live.

i freshman coming fall , i'm nervous making friends. won't living in dorms or that...i mean can make friends in classes? seems hard when have couple minutes before , after class talk.
