clear history open "internet options" under "tools" @ top of internet explorer. under "general" tab click on "clear history". clear history day only. clear history past week or more must click on icon "history" open window left of internet explorer screen. "the icon right of favorites icon. procedure allows choose want delete or keep. right click on want delete , choose delete. option allows "expand , collapse subject link. here can delete entire day entire week. can turn off "auto complete" keep internet explorer trying assume typing in address , serch bar. go open internet explorer, tools, internet options, click on content tab , click on auto complete, uncheck box "web addresses" , "user names , passwords on forms" click on "clear forms" choose ok. , same "clear passwords"

oh yeah, "fyi" there no need try figure out how find hidden folder "local settings" when can need accomplish internet explorer.
