Should I commute to college?

i'm second semester freshman right in college. started living in dorm beginning of last semester , part had issues it. there no privacy because roommate in dorm 24/7, bathrooms dirty because nobody can clean after themselves, cafeteria food got old fast, , didn't have time in general. college 45 min. away home went home every weekend. semester moved new dorm on other side of campus, i'm still having same issues. right feel next year should commute school. i'm conservative person stay away party, drugs, sex, etc. hear people commuting bad idea because can't involved on campus much. @ homes there more comforts. mean food @ home healthier, mom keeps house clean , laundry life @ home easier. should commute?
