Rap & Poetry?

have agree ananda on tupac. there several tupac songs have made poems. man poet , wrote poems have made songs (and not rap songs). in fact, album rose grew concrete based off of poetry book same name.

tupac songs can think of @ moment have made pretty poems: "changes", "baby don't cry (keep ya head ii)", "u can touched", "hold on strong", "i ain't mad @ cha", "the die young", "only god can judge me", "brenda's got baby", "life goes on" , many others. if 1 overlook of profanities , instead focus on content, had messages convey.

mindless? lil jon & east side boyz. swear, hear him "okay!". talking song "crank dat" soulja boy? can added list. mainstread talks cars, women, money , bling pretty mindless me.

i think rap songs can brilliant examples of poetry set music. of course doesn't work in every rap song.

question rap songs consider poetry , ones not?
