in engine compartment, mounted on firewall, driver's side. not easy. screws clamps facing difficult position , if original filter... hope have patience because rubber lines can become quite attatched fuel filter... use filter nissan. have had bad experiences using aftermarket fuel filter on other nissans. ran rough, lack of power... because of little fuel filter. may luckier was.
