there several genealogy sites on internet can free searching. rootsweb.com; genealogy.com; family history.org genweb few. go library. have section genealogy. can search census records ny starting 1910 ancestor. there lot of resources out there. if plan on doing lot of this, i'd suggest genealogy program , starting yourself, work backwards. talk parents/grandparent/aunt/uncles , cousins know. luck,

my ancestor lyman chandler born in east aurora, ny (erie county) in 1907. have no idea if have more relatives in or family comes from? thanks!
