I need help painting my old furniture...?

primer before paint. if white paint in condition (not peeling or badly scratched), might ok painting on it. personally, think using bucket paint better, disagree me. if paint rough, should sand off, prime it, paint black on.
=)

i have old white furniture want paint black.
figured should use spray paint don't know.
use spray paint , primer @ end , buy spray paint at?
