Why is my printer printing blank pages?

lexmark x1100 series , ink cartrages have not been used yet. bought them few months ago though , when brand new tried them , didn't work. i've left them little while in printer , i'm trying them again. have full ink levels.

i've taken seal off (theres still copper coloured thing on looks important i've left there...)

i've given cartrages clean , made sure arent dried still printing blank pages =(

printer makes printy sounds , looks if printing paper white
i'm pretty sure i've put them in correctly well...
, i've gone troubleshooting isn't helpful @ all.
