can go crank turn, , might need 1 or 2 rods reassemble . can done bottom without removing heads. need brg's , gaskets. least.
motor has pulled out.
once apart might need new crank.

price 280.00 depending on parts needed if of labor getting motor out , taking machine shop.

upgrade cam ... 068 or 744 new
new brg's .... crank, mains , cam
gasket sets ... double roller timing chain
turning crank ... .010 or .020 or replacement
new water pump, new fuel pump, upgrade dist hei

last heads replacing valves unleaded valves , harden seats, making sure springs good. (double) ... called valve job.

local machine shop. 1800 2500 assembled , fired or ready fire. 12 month warranty.

i wondering if has rough figure how cost have pontiac 400 rebuilt. has knocking rod , engine needs rebuild. looking bare bones rebuild/minimum... can drive car... have ideas? thanks
