Can I mix tempura paint with acrylic paint?

both tempera (note spelling) --or poster paint-- , acrylic paint water-based should mix fine while wet, tempera not *waterproof* , permanent after drying whereas acrylic paint is.
i'd assume tempera mix acrylic , sealed along it, think other answer said final paint being bit brittle if tempera used?

i'm doing art project , need add white green acrylic paint dont have white acrylic, have white tempura paint. can mix 2? i'm painting on dried dough/clay stuff.
