more draw , closer observe, more see draw, have make conscious decision stop.
experience, if work photograph, drawing not lively , informed when draw actual object. therefore, portfolio runs risk of appearing tight , contrived not how budding draughtsman (person).
so, if need to, grab book on drawing landscapes, of practice drawings (from book) then, translate steps drawing actual scene. keep in mind, in every landscape, artist edits included , left out. necessity too. use eye critically observe drawing , scene. stop when feel close complete. later can edit if feel need.
final note- many more drawings have submit. put them aside period of time (a week, month). then, pull them out , choose ones respond most. tend ones best represent according brain , eye.

for college have art portfolio. have 3 pictures of objects study. , 3 environments or architecture. 1 have pictures @ ideas , inspiration? , tips on environments one. i'm not in field.
