Paint on carpet?

well, if paint latex paint, (as indoor paints now), should water soluble. first things first, i'd pour glass of water on stained areas , let sit minute break paint. then, i'd spray carpet cleaner (resolve, or shake-able carpet cleaner) , let soak in.

when comes cleaning, first thing need soak whatever paint loose. put down dry rag , step on (or push hard) until have soaked whatever paint has broken down. reason doing because if don't, you'll end spreading dilluted paint on larger area scrub carpet.

after you've gotten as can, it's time scrub. alternate water, cleaner, soaking, , scrubbing as need until comes up. important can, before paint has permanently stained area. repeated process 4 or 5 times, able remove dark purple paint light berber well.

hope works you. if doesn't, might rent carpet steamer hardware store or call local steamer. if else fails, rug cover up!!
