Looking to find inspiration for an "Art History" Project...?!?

i'm not art major, i'm taking "art history" elective, part of our grade actual project. given assignment, isn't due until mid april; though, have no idea precisely i'd make, nor way go doing it.

so, me brainstorm, maybe trigger embedded creativity, thought i'd inquire if had basic suggestions?, or educate me advice? know it's broad question, hence, answers might obscure and/or vague

can in form mind comes with(painting/drawing/sketch/stained glass/sculpture/statue/diagram/pottery/m... , can choose concept "western culture"

we've traced paleolithic man. areas of interest egypt, greek, roman, medieval, romanesque, , gothic art; although i'll subject if more convenient.
feedback appreciated (even if tell me build pyramid sugar cubes)
