What is the difference between Music Theatre and Musical Theatre in College?

mean music theater @ high school vs in college?? generally, commitment greater. dedicated , hardworking think are, double it. step professionalism - still has time, , there cast parties, it's not social club high school....people there make connections, find future jobs , make money. also, understand there dozens of people dying part. if really mess up, or don't show call, or don't take part seriously, else will. (the directors worked in college had absolutly no problem firing lead , subbing in understudy.) finally, no matter how in high school, freshman (low man on totem pole) , competing against many many more people. if lousey part, or understudy - love it. show up, best, , helpful. it's gonna take time people notice , give parts.

i'm not trying mean, i've seen people (some friends) try career , leave in tears. it's rough, , no 1 wants hear aren't think are. (you're in college learn remember? :p )

depends on how competive want get...julliard good, you're gonna possibly kill in :p same other conservatory. state colleges have musical theater programs...i recenly impressed university of central florida's....you're best bet find search engine embark.com , start researching options. (or google "musical theater" + colleges)




ps. nice techies. no matter what. can mess show (they controlling lights, microphone, costume ect) :p besides, of them friends directior, production mgr, tech director ect. , stick together.
