Are theaters charging too much for popcorn and soda?

spend more on paper sell on popcorn or soda. spend $10 50 pound bag of popcorn(about 150 tubs) , soda less 25 cents per 20oz cup. price pays cleaning mess between shows. gouge on bulk candy @ places. know grandma took 5 year old matinee , $30 junk food.

i've seen theaters charge reasonably price on soda , popcorn, use paper bags instead of cardboard tubs. unless there no lines prices stay high. go fast food place first , bring in candy dollar store.

my local theater charges 12 bucks tub of popcorn , 2 medium colas. aren't making outrageous profit?
