What is the easiest (and cheapest) way to register yourself as a small business?

lot of feral cat rescue, , have thought while registering business might idea that:

-can use places makro buy cheap cat food (main reason, spend small fortune on pet food!)
-on rare occassion company offers donation cover costs, can have seperate business account give details can prove money has gone on vet bills/food/crates etc

what's easiest/cheapest way this? can't take charity route cos need appointed board , other people, it's me.
