i'm intern working @ residential facility abused and/or neglected girls. 2 clients seeing right ages 15 , 16. 1 sexually abused, 1 abandoned mom , has self harming tendencies. started them both on "visual journals" , presented them way draw , paint feelings rather write them (the 16 year old cognitively 4th grader , not verbal). other art therapy techniques can use in session?
