samsara cycle of reincarnation mortal fate of attached world. buddha, 1 has achieved total enlightenment, can escape samsara. there thousands of buddhas, not one. buddha godlike being, not god. not worship buddhas, merely respect them , aspire become 1 of them.

karma large part of samsara. doing in life accumulate in better reincarnation; i.e. born in more fortunate circumstances, or born happier or more spiritual person, , buddha. doing evil result in accumulation of bad karma, resulting in reincarnation spiritually poorer man, animal, or angry demon. buddhists hold great respect life, because bacteria on tip of shoe can become buddha.

when buddhist prays, seeking guidance wisdom of buddhas, there concept of meditation, involved turning inward find answers problems. clears mind , allows 1 intuitively feel , find right path follow.
