Ok. Here's a tough one... I own a mercedes benz E200 (1999) and now the car only drives on one gear!!!!?

when start up, p r n d display no longer shows , when move never changes gears you're driving on 1 gear. reverses. had car scanned , received following prompts
p1750 electronic gear selector module: low control unit supply voltage
p1910 electronic gear selector module: control unit on voltage
told gear selector lever thats problem i've replaced 7 times , either doesn't fit or doesn't work altogether...
im beginning think mechanics using trial , error decipher fault need second opinion.
