not sure there standard format, can tell cousin did, appreciated many family members. opening section (she used 3-ring binders) chart itself, going several generations. each of 4 grandparents had section, sub-sections each of families. great grandparents, sub-sections information available. used ms word, , loaded in pictures of ancestors pages of word, commentary each person -- information available, birth , death certificates. huge project, resulting in book of 300 pages.
