How do I get started in advertising in high school?

think best bet summer internship. through online yellow pages (yp.yahoo.com works!) , advertising , marketing companies. then, put basic resume, mail them, , follow phone call. explain them happy work them little or free - making copies, making coffee, etc. though doesn't seem advancing career, if things enough, 1) make lots of connections people in field , 2) increase responsibilities when see how reliable , professional are!

if don't want random yellow pages approach, ask parents or adult if have friends working in advertising or marketing. if do, have automatic in!]

can check out craigslist.com or other wanted online classifieds, , internships in field.

don't give if first few companies try don't hire (even free) - takes one, , if you're persistent, you'll internship , it'll great on resume college or jobs in future!
