Do we have to file taxes in canada if we work outside (USA) but have a rental property in Canada?

i'm curious how husband non resident tax purposes? rental property, have significant connection canada, , result in cra considering resident tax purposes. remember it's cra's opinion of tax status matters, not (for instance) irs. odd may seem, both countries consider tax resident."

in revenue canada website, "we deemed non-resident tax purposes if we're otherwise deemed resident of canada who, under tax treaty, considered resident of country."

we're residents in usa, therefore we're deemed non-resident tax purposes in canada.

reason still have rental property in canada because nobody buy it.

my husband has canadian citizenship working in usa. have rental property in canada. considered non-resident of canada. need file taxes in canada?
