john stossel asked ricardo martinez, head of national highway traffic safety administration (nhtsa), why can't people @ least have air bag on/off switches. martinez responded saying society makes decisions benefits people, , people benefit air bags. stossel interviewed yale university's professor kelley d. brownell, director of center eating & weight disorders thinks americans eat many hamburgers , french fries. professor brownell wants government tax fatty foods , little nutritional content , use proceeds subsidize fruits, vegetables , other nutritious foods. he's suggested of tax proceeds used build bike , hiking trails.

i'm wondering when americans going decide we've had enough government meddling in our lives. nobody's business whether eat eggs sunny side up, drive without wearing seat belts, or pig out on hamburgers , french fries. i'd show me congress's constitutional authority government protecting me making unwise choices. believe government should in business of making take care of ourselves, should tell end? should government decide time go bed? after sleep vital health. should government force exercise, read wholesome literature, , bathe regularly?

people advocate nanny government (a better term nazi government) cowards. say, "what mean, william?" take kelley brownell. if doesn't want me eat big mac , french fries, let him walk table , remove them plate. wants no part of doing because doesn't want meet maker year prefers using brutal forces of government. when young, bullies use pick on me, take food off lunch tray , otherwise harass me. that's until followed advice of father told me if let bully away 1 thing, next day it's going else , following day else again. told me bullying won't stop until decide stand , fight. said if lose fight, next time i'm bullied, stand , fight again. let bully know when bullies, win, lose or draw, has fight on hands. stop. think americans should employ dad's advice. long stand lambs before slaughter can bet there'll no end congress's bureaucratic stooges bullying us.

if don't want wear seatbelts, or helmets, we, not congress, must pay in pain, time (in hospitals, rehabs w/e), or loss of body parts. i'm firmly convinced never have survived, of, accidents in had been hog-tied seat. insurance companies, , medical providers, lobby these laws haven't heard of single case after such law passed insurance company says, "oh 20 year perfect driving record (not mine) we've decided next ___ year's insurance on us." has hospital ever said, "now our er doctors , nurses won't have patching accidents maybe should offer breast enlargement @ half price?" stop laughing , reread paragraph in it, under sarcasm, point i'm trying make. answer both no! , unless insurance company or hospital administrator reading this, , wants prove me wrong, don't think ever be!
