Do people think you can escape from reality by doing theatre? If yes why and if no why?

never watched old soap theater...talk yawning. if ever there oxymoron escape exemplified that, albeit, our species drawn viewing situations can think or say, "whew, have better do."

in many respects acting portrayal of else's life, , not charged excitement. films "hell boy 2" escape, "reality", designed in fantastic sense. viewer expects entertained, or @ least, enlightened.

actor, 1 "is" involved in real life, not yours, though wonder how might portrayed?

i'm more curious notion of "escape", "every day", "boring". might assume actor vastly different person cuts grass, or sells car, or tends library???????????

basically think doing theatre can allow escape boring every day life.
