Very interested in moving to NYC...need some advice!!!?

so, here situation. went nyc vacation, , instantly felt @ home. born , raised in lincoln, nebraska, have been active in arts. so, me new york felt right.

receptionist @ television station, , love it. haven't put thought going school (so, don't know study). don't have degree, have tons of office experience.

hoping maybe has moved nyc can give me pointers. guess don't know start. love hear how other people have done same thing.....or been in same situation......?

stands now, move within year or two. rather find place , job rather start school, wouldn't know begin.

moving nyc midwest huge. has made similar move recently? how did go it?
